All edge treatment is different from another and different countertop edge profiles can be categorized as ‘standard’ or ‘Superior’ based on the level of element they have. As you can expect, Superior edges will come at a higher cost than standard edges. 

Standard Edge Finishes

Standard edge finishes can be easily spotted as they are very common for countertops in general.

Square Edge 

The straight edge is a square edge that is rounded ever so slightly to restrict the damage to the countertop and prevent the injuries. This edge finish is the simplest yet very elegant form of edge finish for any kind of countertop. Moreover it is very easy to maintain.

Half Bevel Edge 

This edge finish is subtle, yet very stylish. It allows any spilled liquid to run off the countertop without damaging the cabinets below. This edge is a great option for any countertop; you can choose various angles and depth of bevel as per your choice. 

Quarter Round Edge

Half Bullnose Edge

Dupont Edge 

The Dupont edge features a 90-degree angle straight cut at the top that works its way down for 1/4 to 1/3 of the entire thickness into a rounded edge at the bottom. It is a braver alternative to the Ogee edge finish. A Dupont edge looks marvelous on any surface. 

Double Bullnose Edge

Cove Dupont Edge 

The Cove Dupont edge is three steps which contain a concave curve that makes its way down into a 90-degree angle and at last convex bottom. This edge will be suitable for either modern or traditional design patterns. 

Chiseled Edge

Laminated Edges

Ogee Straight Edge 

Ogee straight edge finish is a combination of an Ogee edge and a Straight edge. It gives look of both edges straight and ogee at same time. This edge finish is the best option when you want to double the edge thickness with ogee finish.

Cove Dupont/Ogee Edge

Laminated Ogee Edge 

A Laminated Ogee edge joins two classic Ogee edges to create a thicker edge profile. This edge looks great in a traditional kitchen setting.
